HOW TO FIX A SLOW COMPUTER SYSTEM

Hello guys, imagine that you have a document to type for your boss and a time-frame was give  to submit it; then all of a sudden your PC starts hanging or becomes slow. Frustrating right?? yeah it is.

Today we will be looking at some tips that will fix a slow system. The following tips might help to make your system faster than before.

1. DELETING TEMPORARY FILES: temporary files are created whenever we make use of the internet browser to surf the web or when we create documents like Microsoft word, excel and their likes. It grant us quick access to those files or site we love to view or edit which also at same time occupies space on the computer. In some systems that I have worked on, a user have temporary file worth 5 gigabytes of space.

Solution:

Go to the Temp file folder by either searching for 'temp' on the start menu or hold the "windows button + R" which will prompt a Run window: simply type %temp% and press the Enter button. When on the temp folder, highlight all the files (ctrl + A) and "SHIFT + Del" to permanently delete all the files and that is all.

2. UPGRADE OF RAM: The RAM (Random Access Memory) gives the user of a system the ability to multitask quickly. when they is a problem running several programs at the same then the RAM is too low to handle such task. Hence its advisable that you upgrade to another one. For example, Let say you are using 1GB RAM, you can upgrade to 2GB or more depending on what your system can handle. Please do check the specification of your system on the internet to know its limitations.

3.VIRUS AND MALWARE: One of the major causes of slow performance of a computer system is VIRUS and MALWARE. The best solution to avoid such from happening is by obtaining a good antivirus and a good USB protector that will scan, detect and delete such virus from the system.
